WHO 2 Chairs
Shea Tan
Hello delegates! My name is Shea Tan and I am currently a junior at International School Bangkok. It is my honor to serve you as a Chair for the WHO for this year’s BKKMUN conference. I started my MUN journey two years ago, as a freshman, which inevitably allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and improve not only my public speaking skills, but also my researching skills and many more. This conference will be my third BKKMUN conference, and is also my first time chairing. It is unfortunate that the pandemic has created the need to adapt and change the usual procedures for BKKMUN, but nonetheless I hope to make this conference as enjoyable and as memorable as possible. I look forward to meeting you all very soon!
Manika Sakulsureeyadej
Hi! My name is Manika and I’m a Junior from NIST International School. Through the course of my MUN experience so far (currently my fourth year), I have had the privilege of attending multiple MUN conferences. I had attended my first couple of conferences as the typical, nervous “don’t make eye contact” delegate. However, the chairs at each of those conferences have played a key role in my growth as a better, more confident delegate. Just like this, by chairing at BKKMUN this year, I will give my greatest efforts to ensure that every delegate is able to put their full potential into developing and further embedding a variety of skills to suit their goals. I look forward to witnessing interesting and insightful discussions from you all.
